Beneath the Koolau Mountains on Oahu's eastern shore, the beach community of Kailua is just a 30-minutes drive from the bustle of Waikiki. Kailua Beach, often voted the best beach in the US, is one of the most popular water sports destinations in the world. With palm-lined white sand beaches and three offshore islets, Kailua Bay's aqua marine waters are surrounded by coral reefs that are home to colorful tropical fish and native honu turtles.

With Kailua Ocean Adventures, you will have an amazing 4-hour Hawaiian outrigger canoe adventure within the waters of Kailua Bay. Our canoes can accommodate 4-6 people, which allow families and friends to enjoy an awesome ocean experience together. Tours include paddling to a remote beach on an offshore island, snorkeling, relaxing in tide pools, and hiking to a secluded cove. Safety is our number one priority, and our experienced guides are both skilled paddlers as well as certified lifeguards. Our tours are very relaxed and our guides to most of the paddling, but don't expect to stay dry!

Hawaii's outdoors have not been fully experienced until you've paddled in a Hawaiian outrigger canoe (wa'a in Hawaiian). A very important part of Hawaiian culture is one's relationship with the land and the sea, and an understanding of this relationship is gained through respect and awareness of the natural elements. Allow us to introduce you to a side of our island lifestyle that is rarely experienced by visitors!

Snorkel Gears provided

Requirements:

• An understanding of baisc English, and the ability to follow instructions

• Children 17 years and under must be accompanied by an adult

• While no paddling experience is necessary, participants must be able to swim and board the canoe via ladder

• Beach walking footwear is required for walking on Moku Nui (offshore island)

Restrictions:

• No children under the age of 5

• No women who are pregnant

• No one with any medical condition with physical impairment

Recommended to Bring:

• Swimsuit, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, and a camera

Daily Pick up time:

8:30 am & 10:30 am

Returns Approximately

1:30 pm & 4:30 pm
