Later, walk out over rough terrain and experience the power of mother nature first hand. While mother nature is unpreedictable, you might witness the glow of fiery lava at active lava fields.
Door-to-door pickup from Waikiki hotels is at about 8:45 am

Effective March 9, 2015, the parking lot of Rainbow Falls, Wailuku State Park-Hilo, will be undergoing renovations and will be closed off for vehicular traffic and parking. We will be providing an alternate viewing point of Wailuku State Park in an area above Rainbow Falls, called Boiling Pots.
Boiling Pots has been selected due to its nice vantage point for viewing the falls and river for the approximate six (6) months that the Rainbow Falls parking lot will be closed.
Please arrive at hotel pickup location 10-15 minutes prior to pickup. All times are approximations.

We do not guarantee sighting of lava flows. Surface lava flows may be present but may not be visible due to environmental conditions or time constraints.
